Our Mission

The mission of the Collier County Medical Society Alliance is to support medical families and the community at large in the following areas:

Member Activities

  • To cultivate an atmosphere of friendship and support within the medical family. To support the activities of the Collier County Medical Society.
  • To provide opportunities for education of members regarding issues of interest. To educate members regarding the dynamics of the Health Care System.
  • To promote active involvement in Health Care Legislation.

Community Service

  • To award scholarships to students interested in medical careers.
  • To provide financial support for health related organizations in our community.
  • To recognize and utilize the Alliance as a valuable resource to the community.
  • To serve in community outreach programs.
  • To provide opportunities for education to the general community on pertinent health topics.

Our Activities

FAMILY & SUPPORT

  • Playgroup. Chairperson: Sonia Rajani. Meets once a month giving moms a little adult conversation and the kids a chance to have fun with friends!
  • Cares, Kudos & Concerns. Chairperson: Stacy Nicolau. Acknowledges important events in members' lives.
  • Family Social Events. Outtings and parties for families, including holiday celebrations.

SOCIAL

  • Fall Preview.
  • Ladies & Couples Night Out. Chairperson: Wendy Gurevitch. Enjoy a night out with just the ladies or take an evening to meet and mingle with other medical couples. Monthly.
  • Book Club. Co-chairs: Aditi Agarwal & Mary Cross. Every six weeks review & discuss another great book.
COMMUNITY SERVICE/FUNDRAISING

  • Chips for Charity. Chairperson, Stephanie Rubino. Hosted by CCMSA , CCMS & Naples Jet Center. Try your luck at black jack, roulette, and Texas hold 'em while supporting local charities.
  • Habitat for Humanity. Chairperson: Sue Gauta. Join CCMSA & CCMS to help build a Habitat for Humanity home.
  • Anonymous Angels Project. Chairperson: Nicole Laquis. Providing holiday cheer and education for teenage mothers attending high school in Collier County.
  • Doctor's Day.

  • Installation of Officers/Year End Meeting: Join CCMSA & CCMS for a great dinner and welcome the new officers.
